New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District

Zoom information will be provided upon RSVP.

Please join me for a unique Zoom with Rep. Chris Pappas on Thursday, June 2nd at 5:30pm . Chris came to Congress from his family restaurant the legendary James Beard Award winning Puritan Backroom in Manchester, New Hampshire where they invented both the chicken tender and the mudslide. Chris will be joined by Carolyn Hough, a celebrated chef whose career began at the legendary Chez Panisse in Berkeley. She works with Soup Sisters, a non-profit that helps feed and nurture women and kids in need. Chris will also be joined by David Baum, a “conversation architect” who has worked with Jane Goodall, Oprah, and five Nobel Peace Prize winners.

Chris, Carolyn, and David will talk about the connections between food, community, social change, and winning in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District. Chris is in one of the most competitive races in the country. The New Hampshire Republican Legislature tried but failed to gerrymander his seat. Chris is now raising money to support a massive grassroots effort in the Eastern part of New Hampshire which will energize the Democratic base and turn out the voters needed to reelect him, Maggie Hassan, and flip the New Hampshire Legislature and Governor’s office.
