Haley Stevens for MI 11 House District

Holding MI 11 House seat held by Haley Stevens

Haley Stevens became the first woman to represent Michigan’s 11th District when she was first elected in 2018. Now, Stevens is among the Democrats being targeted by the GOP because of her narrow victory in 2020. While she won her first election by 7 percent, her margin decreased to 2.8 percent in 2020. Prior to her election, Stevens Haley played a key role in setting up two federal offices critical in creating and retaining Michigan jobs: The Office of Recovery for Automotive Communities and Workers and the White House Office of Manufacturing Policy. She earned a master’s degree in social policy and philosophy and a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University with honors and distinction. Stevens focuses on supporting affordable and accessible healthcare, economic recovery, public education, the LGBTQ+ community, and women’s rights.
