On the Issues
In Congress, Engel will prioritize addressing Arizona’s water crisis by promoting smart water policies and advancing clean energy initiatives that create jobs and lower utility bills. She also supports common-sense gun safety measures, including universal background checks and a ban on assault weapons.
Along with her husband, Scott Saleska, a climate scientist, Engel has made Tucson her home. They enjoy exploring Arizona’s hiking trails. Their daughter, Helene, has recently started college. Engel’s proven leadership and dedication to Arizona’s values make her a strong candidate to represent the Sixth Congressional District.
