EVENT TO DIVE INTO

Volunteer Summit
Flipping AZ, ME, PA

Two U.S. Congresswomen from Massachusetts – Lori Trahan, member of the New Dems and the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and Katherine Clark, Democratic Caucus vice chair – will offer a national perspective on this crucial election.

Representatives from Maine, Pennsylvania, and Arizona will give us their perspective on the electorate in their states and how we can best reach their voters.

Organizations on the North Shore are working together to bring us this Volunteer Summit: Greater Andover Indivisible, Indivisible-RISE Newburyport, Swing Left North Shore/Cape Ann, Leading Ladies (the action corps of We are America The Beautiful), and various Democratic town committees.

Discover what you can do at the virtual Volunteer Summit on Sept. 24. You’ll also learn how you can join and help a Massachusetts-based team campaigning virtually in these states.

Thursday, Sept. 24, 7–8 p.m. ET

MAKE WAVES

Virtual Rally with Sherrod Brown

What can we do in six weeks? How about changing our future and saving democracy?

Because, as of Sept. 21, that’s how long we will have to win back the White House, flip the Senate, and hold on to the House.

Join Together for 2020 in a Virtual Rally to Get Out the Vote, co-sponsored by Swing Left Greater Boston. Special guest Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown will give us insight into how we will can win this election by encouraging people in critical swing states to vote. We will also hear from Noah Emmerich aka Stan Beeman from The Americans. Learn about the most effective tactics right through election day to reach younger voters and those who might not otherwise vote.

For the final six weeks, we need all hands on deck. The rally will make it easy to get on board and use your time productively.

Monday, Sep. 21, 7-8 p.m. ET

LIFT ALL BOATS

Cal Cunningham for U.S. Senate from NC

In this election, it is absolutely critical to flip the U.S. Senate blue. Cal Cunningham and his native state of North Carolina is key to that goal.

Cunningham is strong on environmental issues, public education, and campaign finance reform. He proved himself in the state legislature, and he is seeking to do the same in the United States Senate.

Cunningham is in a strong position to oust incumbent Republican Thom Tillis, who has voted more than 93% of the time in line with the president*. Tillis voted against convicting him of obstruction of Congress and abuse of power.
