CA Recall Texting – Coast to Coast

Hello Texters, California Governor Gavin Newsom is facing a recall election in September, which, if successful, will affect far more than California.
In a Coast-to-Coast spirit, MA is funding a special texting campaign in six purple districts to D-leaning voters who have lower propensity to vote (voted in 2020 but not in 2018). This recall is all vote-by-mail. You can help by texting Californians to remind them to return their Vote by Mail Ballots as soon as possible and by 9/14. We need your help!
Republicans are aiming to replace Newsom with a right-wing politician, currently Larry Elder is the leading candidate. The governor has the authority to appoint a successor should anything happen to Diane Feinstein, and we would lose the majority in the Senate. Polls show the recall could succeed, so every vote counts!
Please join us for this special texting, funded by Massachusetts’ own Left of Center, developed jointly with Activate America (who started in CA), and executed with Movement Labs (aka Resistance Labs). The texting will take place in the next few days.
